Alright, so I never write about religion or politics in here but I'm inclined to today. If you're super religious you probably shouldn't read this. You may or may not know this but I'm an agnostic theist. I believe in something...
Agnostic Theism (also called religious agnosticism)—the view of those who do not claim to know existence of God or gods, but still believe in such an existence.I'm not gonna get all deep in here, because I don't think I need to. Here's what I think. I think God is probably a really chill dude. I think religions made up all this song & dance literally. God isn't conceited enough to need ten million songs about him. He's not all about burdening your life so you give half your paycheck to him, pop out 8 kids, or even going to church every week. He's not like 'Oh, remember that time I died for your sins? You totally owe me.'
I think God is like, just be a good person, and don't go worshiping Satan/evil and we're good. I even think he's probably like, oh that Buddha character is a pretty cool dude. I don't think he's crazy about all these religious wars or persecution, he's probably like an awesome college professor and let's you think what you want, and explore tons of ideas. He's not the end all be all, but he's there when you need him, when you need some guidance.
I also think that, God was hoping we'd be a bit smarter and know that shit written 02808339 years ago isn't EXACTLY the same today. Not that we should totally discard the bible but some shit just isn't relevant anymore and we should know that? God didn't make up religion, I think we did.
